3 LAPS
Driving on a race circuit is very different to normal road driving. To make the most of the cars guests will be driving on track you need to learn the racing line and braking points. Our ARDS race instructors will be on hand to help throughout your experience
GUEST DRIVES THE PORSCHE CAYMAN
3 LAPS
Three laps driving the Porsche Cayman. Nowhere else in the UK will you drive the class leading sports car as your introduction to a driving experience. With 3 laps behind the wheel you'll not only have a huge smile on your face but be ready to take on the next car, no doubt feeling like the next Lewis Hamilton
GUEST DRIVES THE FERRARI 458 SPIDER
4 LAPS
The Ferrari 458 Spider is a V8 engine supercar from Ferrari. They've applied all their technical knowhow from the F1 team and applied it to this car. This model also comes with all the Speciale options. The result is stunning. Seated in the drivers seat you feel embraced by the car. The steering wheel could be straight from Vettels F1 car
GUEST DRIVES THE MCLAREN 570S
4 LAPS
The McLaren 570S is stunning. The design is completely different from any of the other supercars in our driving experience fleet. The 570S isn't just nice to look at though. Out on track the twin turbo V8 engine (the same engine used in McLarens P1) delivers seemingly endless acceleration. The chassis is more than up to the job of keeping everything in check, especially around the long sweeping corners at Thruxton.
ABOUT THE SUPERCAR DUO DRIVING EXPERIENCE
Ferrari and McLaren have battled it out in Formula 1 on race circuits around the world for over 50 years. Now, their road going supercars can be driven back-to-back on the UK's fastest circuit. Judge which one is the best for yourself as you drive two models from Ferrari and Mclaren.
Ferrari comes to the table with the Ferrari 458 Spider, a V8 mid-engine rear wheel drive supercar with all of Ferrari's F1 knowhow. McLaren arrives with the stunning McLaren 570S, fitted with a smaller V8 but this one comes with a turbo.
Which will you prefer? Which car inspires the most confidence? Is the Ferrari more aggressive than the McLaren? Does the 570S feel more comfortable on track? Which would you drive away in?
As part of the Supercar Duo driving experience, guest will have a chance to learn the race circuit with an ARDS qualified race instructor initially as a passenger and then driving the Porsche Cayman. It's a fantastic sports car that out performs other more expensive machinery. A great car that gives the driver lots confidence behind the wheel. It's a cracking sports car in itself which will give you lots of confidence before you take the wheel of the Ferrari and McLaren.
